It's been forever!!!

 Our little bull...
 Monster trucks 2014

Movie night!

Well hello, finally. I have been terrible- I admit it. NO excuses. Missing two months of posting is unacceptable and I know I will regret it when I look back. I realized that since Christmas we really haven't taken many pictures and I have minimal to choose from to post. Gonna get back on track...

Boys are well, getting big and losing loads of teeth. Micah has very few to chew with at the moment, and has finally gotten his hair dreaded. (Homage to Uncle Kelly). It is a work-in-progress, and requires loads of maintenance at this point. I will take some pictures soon to show the results...
Elijah is still rocking the mohawk, however it rarely gets gelled up due to "toque weather" all the time. He has also recently disclosed an interest in learning the mandarin language.  Indoor soccer went well for both boys, and our long wait for outdoor sports now begins.

Robert is  now officially out of patrol and in his new position as a School Resource Officer. It has been an interesting transition, and we are all adjusting to the new schedule. Undoubtedly Robert has gone into the job full-steam ahead and is coming home each day with new ideas, proposals, and stories. The school is blessed to have him, as he has embraced this as a real opportunity to work with youth at risk.

More info and pics soon, I promise!

We have many more Christmas pictures to share but have to transfer them from the tablet. Just wanted to check in before the end of 2013 and wish everyone well.

 Zombie boy

 Our adventurers... or peeping Toms?
Look how they have grown... Compare to same picture 3 years ago...
No hockey in our house, but we are learning how to skate
Daddies dental plan better be good...
Hello to all. Catching you up on some Halloween photos. Winter is in full effect here and boys are loving the snow. The other day we had to shovel 4 times in one day and still lost the battle. Skating lessons are going well, soccer is awesome, and swimming is okay... (Mom and dad don't get us to the pool enough)...Bosco just had his 9th birthday, and mom and dad are having their 10th wedding anniversary soon!
No news yet on when or where dad starts his new job, but he has his first Christmas off since joining the police force!

Mom wanted me to share some silly things we have said lately so she doesn't forget to write it down... We were talking about high mountains one day and I asked her if "Kill-A-Man-Gerald" was the tallest mountain. Micah was watching football and there was a big play in the game. Mom asked him if he remembered what it is called when a DB catches the ball instead of the receiver... An "intervention".

Ahhhh. Life is good at the Brown home. Hope all is well in yours!

Where did the summer go???!!!

 Making home made jam!!
 My little chefs...
 Lean, mean, suntanning machine...
Still determined to grow dreads like Uncle Kelly...

The summer has gone by too quickly... Started out with trip to Canmore, visit from IE, Ahmah, and Nakerra, summer camp, church camp, Kelowna, family camp, and lots of time down at the Huskies house. Dad won his first game a the defensive line coach against a team that the Huskies haven't beaten in 5 years!!! So far the team is 2-0 after two years of NO WINS!!
Kindergarten and grade two this year... One person is thrilled and excited, the other... Dreading it... and not the one growing dreads... Please pray that these boys have a blessed school year, great behavior, and loads of learning and fun!!

Ever the hard worker... Elijah decided to use scissors to edge while I mowed...

NO pics of Kelowna... Battery left at home for camera and Miss Jo had her ipad stolen with loads of pics... Stay tuned for pics from Florida family visit... :-)

JULY FUN!!!

 Canada Day Hotties!!!

Micah rockin braids... Prepping for dreads?

 Elijah wants to go faster

 Everyone deep water swimming

Elijah and Grandpa driving the boat

Micah dry-land tubing

Greetings to all as we say goodbye to July... Lots has happened for us in the last month. We started the month in Canmore checking out things after the flood. Weather was great and we attended the parade. The next week our Florida family came to visit, Ahma (gramma), IE (Auntie Vicky), and Nakerra. We had a great time taking them to West Edmonton Mall, the World Waterpark, China town, and just spending quality time together. IE braided Micah's hair while she was here and now he is even more determined to grow dreadlocks... The boys then attended church camp for a week before getting straight into the truck and heading for the Okanagan. We stayed at Grandpa Ed and Miss Jo's, and also visited Peachland, Penticton, and Vernon. Lots of our cousins were in Vernon and we did loads of boating and tubing. The weather was great everyday, and everyone came back brown. Dad flew out and joined us on his days off, and got to golf in the heat.

Now that we are home, the weather is lousy, we miss our family in Florida and Kelowna, but we are getting ready for family camp... More summer adventures to follow.

 BIRTHDAY TREATS FOR SCHOOL...
 BIRTHDAY TREATS FOR SOCCER...
 PARTY!!!
 WORK WEEKEND AT CAMP
 HARDEST WORKING 7 YR. OLD...EVER!
 HARDEST PLAYING 5 YR OLD...EVER!!!

CHAMPION DAD!!!
Greetings!!! Lots to report since the last post... I am now 7! Micah is officially registered in kindergarten for next year, and me in grade 2. Dad has celebrated another year as a super-father, and we spent an amazing weekend volunteering at our family camp. Soccer is in full swing and both Mikey and I are playing amazing. I have found my niche as a defenceman, and was even recruited to play for another team in a tournament this weekend. Micah has scored 5 goals per game in each of his last three games, and mom has been asked if he is in the right age category a couple of times... Mom helps coach my team, and both Micah and I are close to moving up in our swimming levels.

Dad is awesome as ever, and his football season has started up again. The shift work is still really hard on him, but he is a trooper and we are super-good about being quiet when he is sleeping.

More stories to follow... Be blessed!!
